Alexander Center for Neonatology
Helping Tiny Babies Beat the Odds
The most delicate lives need a little more time, a little more love. That's why the Alexander Center for Neonatology provides exceptional care for these special deliveries. It's for hope. And it's for everyone that has beaten the odds.
The Alexander Center for Neonatology at Winnie Palmer Hospital is the fourth largest unit in the United States. Our NICU is capable of the highest level of care for high-risk newborns, and is organized to provide highly skilled, life-saving interventions to critically ill newborns.
More than 1,600 babies are admitted into our NICU each year, and more than 28,000 babies have been successfully treated since the unit opened in 1975. Our NICU consistently demonstrates the best outcome statistics in Florida for low birth-weight babies.
All money donated through the Birdies for Babies delivered by JetBlue Program will support the ever-growing needs of the Alexander Center for Neonatology.
